Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing?

There is an organization actively working to take away your 150 year-old legacy of river rights. They are a wolf in sheep’s clothing. They are acting as if your rights will be lost if the public land is not given to landowners for free. WHAT????

When you read the word “our” in this propaganda IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU. Let’s be clear, they are asking you to help them make public land into private property for free. They are asking you to be willing to give away not only your own river rights, but the rights of all future generations. They are asking you to volunteer and give money to steal Oregon’s state lands. As a former guide on the Rogue river for over 20 years, I under stand the need for this study to be completed (years ago) but even more so now they need to get off their butts and get it done!! NOW-NOT YEARS FROM NOW. Keep up the good work PM.

Thank you for exposing the wolf.

I was born, raised and weaned on the Rogue River. For the last 30 plus years I have made a good share of my income from the recreation provided MY wonderful Rogue River.

I have seen a bit of the propoganda being distributed by the opposition and see the typical red herrings that are thrown about often.

One of those is that there will be masses camping and picnicking in people’s back yards. The reality is, for the last 50 years I know of, people along the middle and upper Rogue have looked at it as and believed (rightfully) that is navigable. The problems being feared have not happened.

As I told a river front property owner friend, I don’t WANT to camp in your back yard and neither does anyone else!!

Thanks again for your efforts.
