This photo,  is just another aspect of Oregon.  To me, it captures how our lives are affected by our rivers.   It shows how we work together to help each other. That toughness, the teamwork, the heart and soul, are some of the skills we learn on our rivers.

Heroes come in all types of crisis.  Last weekend, several folks showed up to be heroes for everyone’s river rights.

I was very worried going into our recent CWO crisis meeting.  I’ve come out of the meeting deeply impressed by people.  There was excellent turnout to the meeting.  And everyone knew that this meeting would result in time commitments, in volunteer duties, and in work.

People came and raised their hands, offering their skills, their leadership, and their experience to protect your river rights.

A new board of directors was elected.  They’re getting their passwords and will be able to post here very soon.  They are getting everything ready for the upcoming legislative session and taking care of some long overdue housekeeping for the association.

Check back soon, to find out more about these great folks, and how you can help them keep your river rights protected.
